For over 70 years, the Parks family has had a long and proud association with harness racing. Fred Parks was a well known, very successful trainer-driver in New York and New England in the 1940's to 1960's, who held numerous seasons, track, and even World records. Together with his wife Frances, Fred passed on his love for horses to his son Donnie Parks and to his grandchildren Mac Parks and Kathy Whiteford, who have developed Parks Breezy Knoll into a growing and well-respected Standardbred horse breeding facility that is well known in horse racing circles and online sports betting sites across the country.

The Parks family firmly believes that the Standardbred horse business should be a grass roots industry. Parks Breezy Knoll stands well-bred and well-conformed stallions at affordable service fees, to provide the small, pedigree-wise breeder a chance to compete in the rich New York Sire Stakes. Parks Breezy Knoll is well positioned to be a leader in the revitalization of the New York Standardbred breeding business, standing two trotting stallions for the 2008 breeding season. Shipped semen is available and encouraged whenever possible; a limited number of outside mares can be accommodated as necessary on the farm. Parks Breezy Knoll intends to buy, breed, raise, sell, and race the best Standardbred horses possible, and to improve the performances of racehorses bred by Parks Breezy Knoll stallions every single year.
